Every sourcing project starts with the same risk: you don’t really know who is on the other side of the quotation. Supplier risk is the first thing we take off your plate.
The verification checklist
- Manufacturer or middle-man? Business scope, workshop evidence and pricing structure usually reveal the answer quickly.
- Capacity & background check — production lines, monthly output, and export history.
- Sample coordination — confirm specs, follow sample production, pre-check sample quality before anything ships. Sample cost and courier freight are buyer-paid.
- References from similar buyers — same product category, similar order size.
Then keep control during production
After the factory passes verification, production follow-up keeps you updated: progress monitoring, requirement communication, schedule pushing and order status reporting. Pre-shipment QC checks appearance, dimensions, function, packaging and labeling against the agreed specification — with photo and video evidence.
Most problems are cheap to fix before the deposit and expensive after it — this checklist exists to keep you on the cheap side.
